On March 31, 2021, some sangha members dropped off fresh fruit and T-shirts to the Abundant Grace fellowship in Fort Myers for their distribution to the homeless. It is our one activity as engaged Buddhists during this time of COVID.
From January 24 through February 2, 2021, members of Rissho Kosei-kai of New York participated in the annual Midwinter recitation of the entire Lotus Sutra. This year for the first time it was done virtually at all Rissho Kosei-kai centers via Zoom. This is our way of cleansing our hearts and minds in preparation for the Asian New Year. It is a hard but important practice in our tradition.
